The guys at Eastside Lumber & Decking also have a creative streak, sponsoring Ink Tank Labs, East Austin artists, in supplying them with lumber to build art installations that include a post-apocolyptic survival bunker. In 2011, Ink Tank Labs created an installation on Rosewood Avenue for the East Austin Studio Tour. Eastside’s driver backed up his delivery truck to the artwork making it look like a lumber delivery “gone wrong”.
