Our customer Gilbert Rose certainly takes pride in his craft. He was the master craftsman on site at Craft Pride, a new bar on Rainey Street in Austin that specializes in Texas microbreweries and draft beer. He re-floored the whole building and set a wood inlay in the floor under a chandelier- map of Texas microbreweries. The fence is built from staggered sized western red cedar and the bar front and interior walls are made out of reclaimed lumber. Gilbert’s crew created the bar top from hand-sawn oak lumber from his own property. The benches and bar tables all used wood left over from the bigger projects on site. Of course his craftsmanship and design in wood is impressive, but the tap room was great too. You can reach Gilbert Rose at 512-970-3068.
